800 miles
across northern arkansas, all of oklahoma and kansas, to end just over the border in eastern colorado. it was a long, long day. highlighted by a few sightings: a dead locust, a welcome sign, and me...soul-deadened after 12 hours of driving.

AHAHAHAHAHHAH! greg. this one made me laugh out loud!!!! i was using the cigarette for perspective, but didn't consider the anti-smoking ad allusions.
