that's right. i went SNOWCAMPING.

it was me and the guys. me, d., and 4 other guys. i am so hard core.

actually, snow camping in california is not nearly as tough as it sounds. during the day, the sun was blindingly kind, the sky was clear and the temp was in the 50s. at night your boots froze solid. but d. made a lovely little home for us with a snow vestibule. and we created a cozy snow kitchen in which to sit and chat.

the snowshoeing was beautiful & a little rough. but the views were SO worth it.
