generous performers. i'm not sure a lot of performers are generous performers these days; especially in rock, especially among young bands. the hives kind of have it; that way of giving all of their energy to the audience. that way of engaging with the audience in a performance, rather than showing up and playing. it's a lost art. and it's something that audiences still appreciate, whether they know it or not.
