it's beginning to look alot like christmas! (even in oakland)

can't believe i haven't posted more lately! here are some great pics - tracy and caitlin and cait's friend lauren as we suited up to go ICE SCATING!!!!


and two pics of thanksgiving preparation - adam and i were exhausted with our baking duties. seriously. i was so tired. three pies and one torte later, i think we were both ready for a nap.


and THIS is our christmas tree. decorated last night with lots of laughs by myself, tracy, jesse, caitlin and adam. then it fell over. so trace, adam and i "rigged" it up (as lisa burke would say) by wrapping two lines of twine around the trunk and tying them to the wall, to keep it upright. dad would be so proud. unfortunately, adam was left trapped between the tree, the wall, and the cabinet to the right of the tree. he was croaking for help and then decided that if only he could sit down and stick his legs out, someone could grab his ankles and pull him clear of the tree. it worked. and now our tree's upright, and adam is just a little prickly as a result. it was HILARIOUS, though. a good time was had by all.

still waiting to hear about the job i interviewed for in seattle last week. sooooo nervous. so nervous. send me well wishes. i'm missing boston and snow a lot lately (especially when it's 70 degrees and sunny here - like, every day), so can't wait to go home next tuesday, 12/20 (arriving horribly jetlagged on weds 12/21). watch out. i expect to see ALL of my old boston pals. (that means YOU!)
