gosh, i can't believe i forgot!

to write about my good, good weekend. on friday i had dinner with erin s. and jon, up from l.a. erin is just the best - one of my best friends from college, and a genuinely good, beautiful, smart woman. and a foodie. (you may have seen her blog, perhaps? 'erin's kitchen'? check it out.)

i am always in good foodie hands with erin. we ate at a place in downtown sf called bar crudo. raw fish, kind of italian/california style. delish. shellfish and mussels and oysters on the halfshell and chunks of tuna and it was all just flavorful and delicious. and we had a bottle of wine. and then i went to one of heinzelman's karaoke nights. and on saturday i was HUNG OVER. for the first time in a long time.

this always happens when i'm hung over. i wake up thinking "what is this awful feeling? why do i feel HORRIBLE?!" and then i realize. i'm hung over.

but i had a lovely day looking at kites at the berkeley marina. just delightful. the weather is always so freaking delightful here. tomorrow they predict rain. let's see if it'll actually happen. don't worry, the sun always comes out in the end. this is california, after all.
